East Vancouver Private Garden Tour 2010, Sunday, June 20!

This year's garden tour will be on Sunday, June 20, from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, and people can sign up by phone using a credit card or in person, either at Britannia (604.718.5800) or at Figaro's Garden Centre (604.253.1696).

This self-guided tour will take you into some of the more creative and special areas of East Vancouver. Participants will have the opportunity to visit 10-12 gardens, as well as see examples of public spaces which have been "greened" by residents of East Vancouver. NOTE: Gardens are not wheelchair accessible, children must be 12 years of age or older and no pets or photographs allowed on the tour.

This tour is jointly sponsored by Britannia Neighbours, Britannia Community Centre and Figaro's Garden Centre. Proceeds go to Britannia Neighbours to develop and maintain green spaces in the neighborhood, and to undertake projects which foster a sense of community.
