East Vancouver Private Garden Tour 2008, Sunday, June 22!

This year's garden tour will be on Sunday, June 22, from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, and people can sign up by phone using a credit card either at Britannia (604.718.5800) or at Figaro's Garden Centre (604.253.1696), or actually buy tickets at Figaro's Garden Centre (3rd and Victoria). Proceeds go towards the greening of Grandview/Woodlands.

The 2007 garden tour saw 235 gardening fans tour 11 private gardens in the Commercial Drive neighbourhood.

The $2,350 from ticket sales and $250 in support from the Commercial Drive Business Society went to Britannia Neighbours for new plantings in the Napier Greenway at Commercial Drive. Past projects include the creation of Napier Greenway and Mosaic Creek Park at MacLean Drive and Charles Street.
