Kids Mini Grand Prix Races

Friends of Ferarri race in the parking lot of the Italian Cultural Centre, at 3075 Slocan St. T: 604.430.3337!

This event is organized by Suzann and Franco Corona. Mr. Corona is the Founder and President of Friends of Ferrari. This is the 3rd of five mini races for children aged 3-5 years that will be held in the ICCS parking lot. The wee racers will wear official F1 gear for the occasion. Friends of Ferrari (www.friendsofferrari.com) inaugurated the 2008 racing season in the piazza Saturday April 26, 2008 with the participation of His Worship, Mayor Sam Sullivan.

This established charity organization, who is a very generous supporter of the Italian Cultural Centre among other charities, added a mini-Grand Prix for the children of our Italian Language School on Saturday May 10, 2008.

Participation in upcoming races is open to children aged 3-5 provided the child can fit into the car and comfortably reach the pedals. The electric cars travel slowly and the wee racers will wear official F1 racing suits for the occasion!

If your child or a child you know is not enrolled in our language school but would like to take part in this exhilarating experience, there are five races throughout the season. Ten racers is the maximum per race. If there are more than ten children registered, ten will be chosen by random draw. The other children will be slated to race on one of the next race dates. Special gifts for all participants.
