Earth Day on the Drive: Saturday & Sunday, April 19 & 20, 2003

Our 2002 Commercial Drive Earth Day festival was a great kick-off to this annual event. With the involvement of 25 merchants and organizations, we hosted events ranging from yoga and pottery demonstrations, to seminars on back yard composting and alternatives to toxic sex toys!

Our earth-friendly, organic cotton 100% reusable "Earth Day on the Drive" banners marked participating merchants who offered specials such as free seed packs, discounts on: organic menus and produce, eco-friendly books, recycled wood furniture, bike parts & accessories, and specials on refillable shampoos.

Events were covered by Shaw Cable, Global, CBC and local media. Thanks to everyone that participated! We look forward to an even bigger event this year.
