WINTER FESTIVAL 2009
In Partnership with the Britannia Community Centre and the Grandview-Woodland CPC
Saturday, November 28, 1:30 – 9:00 pm at Britannia Community Centre (1661 Napier Street)
Come celebrate the holidays at the Commercial Drive Winter Festival – a merry event including ice skating with Santa, Wii games, a holiday movie, holiday treats, tree displays and lots of prizes from Santa’s elves!
Event Details:
Skating with Santa at the Britannia ice rink, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Wii Games at Britannia Gym D, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
“Miracle on 34th Street” (1994) film at Britannia Gym D, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Holiday trees decorated by local school kids. Enter to win presents under the trees! Prizes include an iPod and Nintedo Wii!
The event is FREE and we’re collecting non-perishable food and donating concession sales to The Greater Vancouver Food Bank. In December, the holiday trees along with food and toys will be donated to families through local charities.
