1st annual Halloween Pet Parade and Trick or Treat!

This Halloween get your tricks and treats on the Drive! On Saturday, October 31st celebrate Halloween with a pet parade at Grandview Park, and in-store trick or treats at fantastic merchant locations on the Drive.

Halloween Pet Parade: All pets and spectators welcome – with or without costume! Register your buddy at 10:30 AM at the SPCA tent in Grandview Park. Registration is free, and donations for the SPCA are appreciated. The route is short and sweet and full of treats! Win prize griveaways, and Halloween treats for you and paw pals! SPCA PET COSTUME INFO: What Not to Wear If I can't freely move and use my limbs, ears, nose, mouth and tail - I'm not going to be very happy - even If you think I look cute! Dogs will be dogs - but only if we can behave like them. If you cover up or restrain our ears, eyes, back, mouth or tail - we won't be able to act like dogs! I can get confused meeting other dogs. A misunderstanding because I can't see other dogs' signals can make me growl, bite, or be afraid. Wearing costumes stresses me out! I'm very expressive. I use my limbs, ears, mouth, fur and tail to talk to other dogs. If you cover up my body parts, how can I communicate?
