- Call #311 or use the VanConnect App > Submit New Service Request > Street and Sidewalks > Location + Description > Save Reference Number
IMPORTANT Once report are filed with VPD/City, make note of the reference number and email the CDBS Neighbourhood Safety Team at safety@thedrive.ca (attach VPD/City reference number(s), picture, any specific details AND YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER).
City and VPD will only add more resources in our area based on volume of calls made by many sources. We must all become a part of the reporting process to receive proactive engagement in our community by these agencies. Please report deligently and often.
The Van Connect App is a simple one-stop solution for connecting with Vancouver City Hall, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Using this City of Vancouver Smartphone app, you can request a By Law Officer to attend and address the issues outlined above, by submitting a short description of the problem and uploading a picture. The app automatically “knows” where the issue is located and sends a report to the corresponding department and informs you the instant your request is resolved. VanConnect can be accessed by downloading the program to your phone, or desktop.
